I thought I’d need an ambulance calling at my first session but my body surprised me and I’m a lot more flexible than I thought!
Two hours of yoga and meditation every week is two hours of pure bliss. The studio is small and so cosy, with cushions, blankets, bolsters and just about anything you could ever need to get comfy. The best bit is the last half hour of relaxation to meditative vocal music while we are tucked up in our blankets.
I haven’t ditched Pilates Bussell just yet, I’m working my way up to self taught pilates. For now, I’ve got a lot to thank my yoga teacher for, she’s made me appreciate my body that little bit more.
